Sad Truth
Tuesday, July 5, 2016Here is a truth that we must always remember:
The world does not revolve around us.
Yes, there are times when we all feel clingy and in need of time and attention, but that is no reason for us to cross the line to the dark demanding side.
Often times, we lash out on loved ones for not spending time with us. If they still don't take a hint, we give our partners some kind of ultimatum, we scold our children, we stop talking to our good friends. You end up feeling unappreciated and rejected, tired of asking for attention and love. You sink into an abyss of sadness and drown in your pool of lonely thoughts.
Lighthouse Park
Sunday, June 26, 2016
Since we are planning to go for a hike in Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver this week, let me share a few snaps of my first trip there with my husband. I believe I've posted about it before but it was kind of brief. We've only been in a few hiking spots but we plan to do more if we have the time.
Let me start it off with getting there.
Message In A Bottle
Friday, April 29, 2016
Each one of us have moments where we feel like going downhill (in different ways). I stumbled upon this online and I found it very timely. It's like a message in a bottle from Him, randomly floating in the ocean. I'm pretty sure a lot of people do. Everyone has doubts and anxieties about the unknown future, even what about what's to come the next day.
Sunset in Stanley Park
Saturday, February 27, 2016There's no better place in the city to catch the birth and death of the light of day than Stanley Park.
